The Alchemist Code’s collaboration with Shield Hero is here for global

Scheduled maintenance hits global servers in preparation for The Alchemist Code X The Rising of the Shield Hero collaboration event.

Yesterday, players of the Japanese version of The Alchemist Code were in for a treat as a collaboration with The King of Fighters was announced. Today, it is the Global players’ turn to celebrate as they will finally get their hands on The Rising of the Shield Hero event, 6 months after Japanese players had this event.

Once the maintenance period ends at 1.00 a.m. PST, 23rd December 2020, players will have until 20th January next year to take part in the event. Four characters from the light novel cum anime TV series are obtainable during the event. Naofumi Iwatani, Raphtalia, Filo and Melty Melromarc are ready to be part of your roster!

Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo can be pulled during the event banner. As for Melty, players can unlock her after completing the first episode of collaboration quest. Further completion of the event quests rewards players with unique job equipment and gear for the collaboration units.

A new raid is also available during this event. Players can challenge the Soul Eater from The Rising of the Shield Hero and earn rewards based on their ranking. Players can also fight the Soul Eater in Fierce Battle Quest. This quest has 5 different difficulty levels, all of which can be started 3 times a day for each difficulty. Fierce Battle Coins are obtainable from this quest and can be exchanged for items.

There is also a daily map, Filo’s Apple Garden, which players can get Special Collaboration Apple upon completion. This item is worth 32,500 unit EXP!

Orange Balloons from The Rising of the Shield Hero will also appear. Players can earn Orange Balloon gear by completing the quest “Orange Balloons Everywhere”.
