[SGF24] Sonic X Shadow Generations Speeds onto Consoles and PC This October 

During Summer Game Fest 2024, we got another look at the Sonic X Shadow Generations with a new trailer as well as an official release date.

As announced, Sonic X Shadow Generations will be hitting the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 25, 2024.

For the uninitiated, Sonic X Shadow Generations features an all-new story that allows you to play as Shadow the Hedgehog, with new abilities and an expansive hub world.

The game will also include a remaster of Sonic Generations, which was originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2011.

Pre-orders for the game are now open, and players doing so ahead of launch will receive a legacy skin for Sonic, based on his look from Sonic Adventure.

Meanwhile, those who pre-order the Physical Day One Edition, in addition to the Sonic legacy skin, will also be able to receive Gerald Robotnik’s Journal, a 28-page logbook chronicling “Gerald’s innermost thoughts and drawings while he created Shadow the Hedgehog and the Ark Space Station.”

Those who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition will be eligible to play the game 3 days early, and the edition will also include additional music tracks from previous Sonic games, as well as skins for the characters.

Lastly, we have the Collector’s Edition, which comes with a figure of Shadow, an artbook, and a keychain of Shadow’s shoes in addition to everything found in the Digital Deluxe Edition!
