Sekai Project and NEKO WORKs have finally released Nekopara After on Steam, following a lengthy approval delay. While the game initially launched on the Sekai Project store earlier this month, its Steam release had been held up since early May.
Originally intended as DLC for Nekopara Vol. 4, Nekopara After evolved into a full standalone entry to commemorate the series’ 10th anniversary. The story introduces Fraise, a French catgirl who relocates to Japan after the closure of La Soleil’s French branch. Entrusted to Kashou Minaduki by her guardian Beignet, Fraise’s arrival stirs up romantic tension and emotional conflict among Kashou’s six catpanions.
At its heart, the visual novel explores a love triangle between Fraise, Kashou, and his younger sister Shigure, who harbors unspoken feelings of her own. Themes of love, family, and sacrifice drive the emotional depth of this new chapter in the Nekopara universe.

Nekopara After features fully animated character sprites, Japanese voice acting (excluding the protagonist), and language support for English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese. Returning character designer Sayori brings the cast to life once again, while Murasaki Yukiya handles the scenario writing. The game also includes the theme song “Contrail” performed by Ceui.
Nekopara After is available now on PC via Steam and the Sekai Project store.
