[ Guide ] Genshin Impact: Clearing the fog at Tsurumi Island

Tsurumi Island is the newest region of Inazuma to open in Genshin Impact, and it’s an island quite literally shrouded, in both fog and mystery. Here’s how to clear the air to help explore the rest of the island.

A PARTICULARLY PARTICULAR AUTHOR

The quest requires you to complete Seirai Stormchasers first. When it triggers, you’ll be speaking to Inazuma Katheryne about a commissioner named Sumida. After a spiel that many creative types would understand, you’ll be sent to see Kama at Ritou for a trip to Tsurumi Island to obtain a Maushiro. The fog is thick and oppressive, making for poor visibility, but walking through the gate should hopefully not be too difficult.

You’ll find a boy named Ruu. Try following the lamps along the way to get to the first “Perch”. You will then need to find the 3 feathers – they will also show up on the mini map – to complete the offering ritual and clear the local fog.

Make your way to the ceremonial area and speak to Mata to proceed with the quest.

CHIRAI SHRINE

You’ll be repeating the general process of interacting with the perch, finding the feathers, and returning to clear the fog. You might have to chase down feathers or complete puzzles before the offering will be complete.

The second feather will make you chase it. Follow it through the gate with the Electroculus on the way.

SHIRIKORO PEAK

This area is more involved, as its interior is partially submerged. You’ll have to find the seelies to activate the mechanisms to lower the water level, and solve the puzzles left behind. The first one will be right at the entrance. There are 3 in total, and it can be easy to lose track of them in the fog. You can check the following locations if you realize you’ve missed any of them.

The other 2 feathers will make you chase them.

Set up the relay puzzle in the formation below to open the door. You’ll find the second feather waiting alongside a Ruin Guard.

You need to find 3 more seelies to lower the water level. One is hidden behind some breakable rock. After following the seelies, you’ll have to complete another relay puzzle for a Luxurious Chest and unlocking the gate mechanism.
