Golden Axe makes its way to mobile

As part of its SEGA Forever lineup, SEGA has made on its better known classic game Golden Axe available for the mobile devices.

A little introduction for those who were not fortunate enough to have experienced gaming in the 1990’s, this hack ‘n slash action game which came out for the arcades before being ported to a number of consoles. Here you play one of three characters who must go on a quest to take on the mighty Death Adder. Along the way you will face many terrible dangers, so you will have to be on your guard the whole time.

While the game is free to play, it is supported by ads. Paying a fee will remove all that nonsense. Features such as cloud saving, controller supports, and leaderboards are included for the convenience of modern gamers. Expect more arcade classics to come from SEGA down the line.
