The highly anticipated MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising is finally heading to players worldwide on April 29, 2025, after dominating the Korean mobile gaming market for months. The Norse mythology-inspired title, which has already captivated over 17 million players across Asian markets since its 2021 regional launch, promises to bring its ambitious open-world adventure to global audiences with cross-platform play across PC and mobile devices from day one.

Global Launch Details and Pre-Registration Benefits

Players eager to begin their Norse adventure can now pre-register for the game, with server and character name reservations already open. The game will be available for pre-download on April 28, allowing fans to prepare for immediate access when servers go live the following day.

To celebrate the worldwide release, Lionheart Studio and Kakao Games are offering substantial pre-registration rewards valued at approximately $170, including a limited-edition Viking-themed avatar and mount. These exclusive items will give early adopters a head start in personalizing their journey through the game’s expansive Nordic realms.

On April 3, the development team hosted an exclusive media showcase in Thailand, bringing together gaming journalists, influencers, and cosplayers alongside key representatives from both Lionheart Studio and Kakao Games. 

The event spotlighted significant enhancements made specifically for the global version, including upgraded character and environment assets, comprehensive bug fixes, and improved UI quality. Attendees also received insights into the development roadmap and upcoming content expansions planned post-launch.

Game Features and Nordic Adventure

Odin: Valhalla Rising transports players to a seamless open world deeply rooted in Norse mythology and lore. The game boasts no loading screens outside of dungeons, allowing for truly immersive exploration across iconic Nordic realms including Midgard and Jotunheim.

Players begin their journey by selecting one of four distinct classes—Warrior, Sorceress, Priest, or Rogue—each offering unique gameplay styles and abilities. The game accommodates both solo adventurers and those preferring cooperative play with friends.
