Dokkan Battle Announces Merger Between Global And JP, Alongside New Pity System In The Latest Producer’s Letter

Dokkan Battle has released a new producer’s letter, which teases the merger between both versions of the game and a new pity system.

The producer’s letter showed off a schedule that teases the merger between the Global and Japanese versions of Dokkan Battle, alongside new features that are planned for the 9th and 10th anniversaries.

Although the period for the merger has yet to be announced, it will likely happen before the 10th anniversary of the Japanese version.

Though no announcement has been made, its likely that both versions could be merged by next year’s Worldwide Celebration Campaign, as it would give ample time for the game to unify without feeling rushed, and the campaign is held together on both versions anyways.

The new features that are planned for the next 2 anniversaries will be announced at a later date.

Pity System

Additionally, as a countermeasure for Legendary Summons being neglected as a result of Dokkan Festival and Legendary Carnival banners being more valuable, a pity system for Legendary Summons has been announced, where players can get Legendary Summon Coins (Limited) and exchange them for the new character.

It’s currently unknown if the Summon Coins mentioned in the video are separate from the one currently in game, but it does seem to be a new coin that will reset with every Legendary Summon Banner.

There will also be a guaranteed featured character for every 3 Multi-Summons, for 7 rounds.

This new pity system make its debut on the Global version of the game sometime this month.
