Capcom Co., Ltd. has announced another remarkable financial year, achieving record profits across all categories for the eighth consecutive year. The gaming giant reported impressive growth for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, with net sales reaching 169,604 million yen, marking an 11.3% increase year-on-year.
The company’s financial performance showed substantial gains across all profit metrics. Operating income climbed to 65,777 million yen (up 15.2%), while ordinary income rose to 65,635 million yen (up 10.5%). Net income attributable to owners of the parent increased to 48,453 million yen, representing an 11.7% improvement over the previous year.

Capcom’s Digital Contents business served as the primary engine for growth, with game unit sales totaling 51.87 million—over 5 million more units than the previous fiscal year. The stellar performance was anchored by the remarkable success of Monster Hunter Wilds, which sold more than 10 million units in just one month after release. Strong catalog sales, particularly from the broader Monster Hunter franchise, further bolstered these results.
Beyond its core gaming business, Capcom successfully leveraged its major brands across multiple revenue streams, including movies, character merchandise, and esports. The company’s Arcade Operations business maintained steady performance through consistent operations and the introduction of new store formats, while its Amusement Equipments division saw increased sales volume for new smart pachislo machines, including those featuring Monster Hunter Rise.

Looking ahead, Capcom forecasts continued growth for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, with projected net sales of 190,000 million yen and operating income of 73,000 million yen. If achieved, these figures would mark nine consecutive years of record profits across all categories and eleven straight years of operating income growth exceeding 10%.
