Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is a game by Square Enix and they had just recently launched the English version globally on the 30th of January 2018! The game that was keeping Final Fantasy fans on the edge to download the game had brought joy to all of us whom have waited since its release in Japan. Currently, the game has been climbing up the mobile market charts to be one of the top downloaded games on both iOS and Android.

Though the game has been released in Japan on the 1st of February 2017, some of us may already know the tips and tricks via the wikia. However we’ve made it easily accessible for newbies right here. If you don’t know what the game has to offer yet, here’s a quick rundown of the game.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is a mobile RPG where Square Enix brought the classics of their Final Fantasy series into the Dissidia IP. Players will be battling with a 3-man-team against enemies in a turn-based strategic battle just like the good ‘ol times! Like all RPGs nowadays, “Levelsare a very important strength indicator for your characters along with good equipment. So the question that many of us may wonder are; “How do we raise our character levels as fast as possible?”, “Is there a leveling spot?”, “How do we procure the best equipment for my character?”

How To Raise Your Level Fast?

Here’s the frequently asked question answered in a short sentence; Grind Event Stages. Yes it’s as simple as that! The Event Stages are Crystal Caves which opens everyday, however you can only grind it 10 times a day. If you are hardcore enough, you can also spend a “key” after you’ve depleted your 10 tries of the day to open the cave for 30 minutes! Everyday, different coloured Crystal Caves would open which the coloured crystals can be used to enhance your characters based on their own crystal colour.

Be warned though as there is a Quest Level which indicates the difficulty of the stage. If your party is not strong enough, it may be difficult for you to breeze through the stages. However don’t be discouraged! There are strong friends that you can bring along which you can use them for 3 turns in a stage so use them wisely (use them at the last stage – boss stage). As long as you complete the stage, your team will gain full experience and level really fast as you challenge the higher stages.

How To Earn Gems Fast And How To Get Better Equipment?

Weapons and accessories are as important as just gaining levels on a character. However in this game, gems are needed to gain the most powerful and suitable weapons and accessories for your favourite characters which are through gacha. Thanks to the generosity of Square Enix, the game is fairly easy to allow us to farm gems. Players can gain gems from completing stages in the Campaign Story Mode, Event Stages and the World of Illusions.

On the Story Mode, players can only play up to Chapter 5 currently which will already reap players over 25,000 gems (thanks to their official launch gift event); a full 5 10+1 pulls on the banners (considering pulling on 5,000 gems banner). New events will almost always be introduced every other week so players will be able to challenge the new stages and reap in more gems. So rest assured that you don’t really have to spend your greens at all to play this game. There are plenty of gems to go around if you spend wisely.

If you’ve just started playing Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia, then this is just about the right timing! Currently there’s a Squall Event where everyone will be able to obtain him as long as you complete the quest stage, “The Burden We Bear”! So if your team isn’t strong enough to take on the Behemoth yet, don’t worry, just follow the guide above and you’ll be stronger in NO TIME!
