Takeshi’s Castle is Now Available on Roblox 

TBS Television and GeekOut announced that the official game of Takeshi’s Castle has been launched on the game platform Roblox on September 1st, 2023.

Based on the globally acclaimed Japanese game show that was aired in the 1980s, Takeshi’s Castle is now available in Roblox and fans can experience the iconic obstacles once again.

Similar to the show, players cooperate with each other to take on and overcome various obstacles from Takeshi’s Castle such as ‘Ryujin-Ike’, better known as the ‘Stepping Stone’, or ‘Daruma-san ga Koronda’ a.k.a. ‘Now You See Me, Now You Don’t’.

Serving as the entrance before the game starts, the lobby features buildings that display the rankings of the players’ games.

The developers noted that there are also plans to sell digital items related to Takeshi’s Castle like the avatar clothing and accessories in the future.

Takeshi’s Castle is a free-to-play title and is available on mobile devices and Windows PCs supported by the Roblox app.

TBS Holdings announced that they were expanding into the gaming business in July 2023 with the TBS Games brands.
