The Taiko no Tatsujin Drumsticks Controller for Nintendo Switch has been announced, and will be available in Winter 2023.

Taiko no Tatsujin Drumsticks Controller for Nintendo Switch is a new accessory for the Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival game that will be released on 13th December, 2023.

Not only do the drumsticks allow players to experience the game with Motion Controls, they also contain adjustable weights that can give players a workout.

The drumsticks will also come with several purchase bonuses which include a redeemable code for an extra song, “Supernova Girl / “DON DON Fitness” Theme Song”, and a new Drumsticks Controller Style outfit.

A new game mode that will be compatible with the drumsticks, “DON DON Fitness”, will also be made available this Winter for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival.

DON DON Fitness is different from the traditional Taiko Mode, as notes shoot across the screen to you.

There will be a big Japanese Taiko drum in front of you, and you hit the notes by swinging your Joy-Con when the notes overlap with the 4 targets, with larger swings netting higher scores.

You can even check the estimated calories burnt for a song, and your total calories burned after play.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is avaialble now on the Nintendo Switch.
