Konami has announced that Suikoden: Star Leap, the mobile RPG spin-off of the beloved Suikoden series, will launch globally on PC via Steam in 2025 after being originally announced for iOS and Android.

Revealed during the Press Start 2025 digital showcase, the global PC release brings Suikoden: Star Leap to a wider audience and signals a major step in Konami’s renewed focus on one of its most iconic RPG franchises.

According to the official Steam page, Star Leap takes place in the shared universe of the Suikoden series. The game tells an original story centered around the Rune of Change, one of the 27 legendary True Runes that are said to have shaped the world.

Set in Solar Year 453, the narrative begins with a devastating attack on a lakeside village east of the Scarlet Moon Empire. In the aftermath, a young Hero and their companions—Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur—rise to rebuild their home and uncover the deeper forces threatening the realm.

As their journey unfolds, players will encounter iconic characters from the main series, such as Viktor, Flik, and Odessa, weaving a new tale that honors the legacy of Suikoden.

As their small mission grows into a sprawling journey, the group will cross paths with familiar faces like Viktor, Flik, and Odessa, deepening the connection to the original Suikoden lore.

Suikoden: Star Leap features 108 new Stars of Destiny, letting players recruit and bond with a wide range of unique characters. Its strategic, team-based combat system encourages tactical planning based on character abilities and synergy.
