Kartrider: Drift is an online-based match action racing game utilizing the Unreal Engine 4 from NEXON KOREA, coming to Xbox One and PC. With dynamic kart movement, pick your rider and take to the track with ease! This is the second closed beta test for Kartrider: Drift, which will be held from 4 June Thursday 07:00 AM – 10 June Wednesday 21:00 Malaysia time (GMT +8). Registrations open 14 May Thursday 11:00 AM – 1 June Monday 10:00 AM (GMT +8). So don’t miss out on the new features, event and rewards available for this test! For those that may not be as familiar with the game, Crazyracing Kartrider is a massive hit in Korea, as part of the Crazy Arcade franchise. It’s been through many iterations over the years since its original release in its home country in 2004, with regional variants and even mobile ventures. But, Kartrider: Drift is the first one out of the franchise to be available on console, as well as packing cross-platform support! You’ll be able to play with everyone around the world on various platforms during the closed beta test period and when it launches globally.

Most racing titles that come to mind typically don’t globally offer cross-platform, so it might be interesting to see if this has any effect on competitive fairness! Besides any possible advantages from platform to platform, one would probably hope to be able to use the same account across them too. Go up against both PC and console players regardless of your chosen platform. With the game being free to play, you’re sure to come up against a diverse pool of racers from all over the world!

Find high quality graphics, customizations, new tracks and themes to be added throughout to keep it fresh and exciting for all. Variety is the spice of life, and it holds true for the game too.

There’ll be various game modes for multiplayer:

• Drive your kart and utilize the various item pickupsyou can obtain during the race in Item Mode.
  • You can even set priority for the usage of your item, changeable up to five times a race
• Speed competitions / Speed Mode
  • Boost and time it right to drift on the track ahead of your competition!
• Individual competitions, as well as for two person teams and up to four person teams are also available

Some items will also be available in both Item and Speed Modes for that added exhilaration in the competition. Speed Mode requires player skill, especially if you’re able to utilize the drift skill exclusive to this game. You can acquire N2O – namely the booster – if you drift successfully, which will likely give you that edge you need to reach the finish line!

Register your chosen ID and it’s off to the races, starting with the tutorial.   • Play through various missions to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics!
  • Learn how to use items in the Beginner missions and how to drift in the Intermediate missions in Racing School.
• Time Attack
  • Practice driving against yourself
  • Your past record will show up as a ghost so you can improve on your skills and beat your time
  • Time Attack mode will be available in record renewal mode, so polish up your driving skills and beat your records!

There’ll be various themed track which will be updated periodically. With large selection of tracks, you’re unlikely to get bored as you go through the whole roulette in scenery and tracks. Stay on your toes – your kart? – as you work to learn the route and beat out your competition with the most razor edge of advantages.

Enjoy this track selection across many themes, from snow to sun, as though you’re exploring many worlds as you race along the tracks in this closed beta! Who knows what tracks they will add next to liven up your next race?

Customise your kart – and your character – in the garage. Obtain costumes and decals to decorate your kart all over. Mix and match as you please!

Karts can have different effects depending on the main body. There’ll be different parts depending on the type of kart too! Tweak that bumper to the design you like best and stand out from the crowd.

There’s also the character customisation, with skins, and emotes as well. With all the countless customisation features, express yourself, don’t be shy and show your colour!

Kartrider as a series has collaborated with real life car manufacturers, beverage companies, and fast food companies, so you can expect the newest title to follow suit in the future. What skins or cars would you hope to see?
