Punishing Gray Raven CN x Devil May Cry 5 Collaboration Announces Launch Date And New Details

The CN server of Punishing Gray Raven had announced a collaboration with Capcom’s Devil May Cry during a livestream in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the game hosted by Kuro Games.

Roughly six months since then, updates have finally been confirmed that the collaboration is set for release this May 22, along with other exciting features coming to liven the game exponentially. The details are as follows below:

New Omniframe: Dante (Free Unlock)

Players can obtain the new Omniframe: Dante completely for free by completing Chapter 6 of the special collaboration story event.

This gives all players easy access to one of the main DMC characters without needing to pull from the gacha.

New Omniframe: Vergil (Gacha-Exclusive)

Omniframe: Vergil is available exclusively through the collaboration’s limited-time gacha banners.

Players will need to pull from the featured banners to unlock Vergil for use.

Limited-Time Gacha

During the event, discounted gacha pulls are available at 175 per pull (reduced from the standard cost).

There are four special Rate-Up banners available:

• Dante Rate-Up pool
• Fate Dante Rate-Up pool
• Vergil Rate-Up pool
• Fate Vergil Rate-Up pool

Bonus Duplicate System

For each featured character (Dante or Vergil), the first two copies you pull from a Rate-Up banner come with an extra bonus duplicate delivered via in-game mail.

Example of the bonus system:

• Pull 1 copy of Dante/Vergil → Receive 2 copies total (1 original + 1 bonus)
• Pull 2 copies → Receive 4 copies total
• Pull 3 copies → Receive 5 copies total (the bonus only applies for the first two pulls, after which it returns to 1:1 pulling)

Punishing Gray Raven is available to play for mobile on iOS and Android. Fans of either franchises can look forward to this event coming soon this May on the CN server of the game, as it does its best to recreate the beauty of Devil May Cry as best as possible.
