The Promised Neverland: Escape the Hunting Grounds is the series’ mobile game that will launch on 22 April 2021. It opened pre-registrations about two months ago, and have since hit all the milestone rewards, which are:
- 10,000: 500 Diamonds
- 30,000: 1000 Diamonds
- 50,000: 2000 Diamonds
- 63,194: 3000 Diamonds
From the gameplay preview provided on the official Twitter, it plays like a top-down Dead by Daylight and its ilk, with relatively deceptively cute super deformed spritework. Four players will work together to escape, with interactable machines much like the power generators of its predecessor scattered over the map for them to work on. The Demons that pursue you can be defeated with weapons, but will be able to respawn. It doesn’t look like they’re player controlled. Other things to note are what looks like grenades, and a time limit.
