Project Dreamcatcher Releases First Song ‘Feather of Courage’

Project Dreamcatcher, a local Malaysian idol project has released its first character song, ‘Feather of Courage’ on its youtube channel.

‘Feather of Courage’ or ‘Yuuki no Hane’ is sung by Mi Er (VA Minori Watanabe) the main protagonist of the project who comes up with the idea of becoming an idol to save her Penang village.

While is song and VA are in Japanese, the character is Malaysian, as are Yore Productions, the creators and writers of the Project. We actually did an interview with them recently about Project Dreamcatcher and how they developed the idea and their plans for it in the coming future.

Besides the new song, they have also released the prologue chapter for a Project Dreamcatcher Manga on their Facebook page. The manga establishes the general setting and characters of the project.

The story is currently your classic idol story where the characters decide to become an idol group to make money to save their local town in Penang. The team has expressed however that they wish to expand the project further with a wider range of characters across different parts of Malaysia.

The project is still in early development as Yore Productions is still an indie studio however with this first music track out, it seems they are one step further in catching their dreams.
