Predator Announces Orion 3000, Along With Acer Type-C Monitors

At today’s Acer Press Event, Predator announced the Orion 3000, the latest in their line of gaming desktop towers. Additionally they announced two Type-C monitors for high gaming performance as well.

Orion 3000

The Orion 3000 is a powerful gaming desktop packed into a medium size tower, and comes equipped with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. It also uses the Predator Frostblade fans for cooling, and even comes with RGB lighting on the case.

There’s also a second model, which comes with an i5 Procesor and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER instead.

The i7 model will retail for RM6799, while the i5 model will go for RM4099.

Of course, there’s no point having a high performance desktop without having a monitor to actually see the games on. To that end, Acer announced two new monitors, using the type-C cables.

Predator XB273U GX

The first of these is the Predator XB273U GX, which features a 27-inch display and supports up to 270hz meaning you can play games at their maximum framerates with minimum worries.

It’s also certified to be compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, making sure your gameplay is as blur-free as possible so you’ll be able to handle whatever the game throws at you.

The Predator XB273U GX is VESA HDR 400 certified, with a native and DisplayHDR brightness of 400 nits.

This monitor provides vivid visuals that give an authentic experience thanks to its 99% AdobeRGB wide

color gamut with Delta E<2.

The monitor will set you back RM3299.

Acer CB342CK C

The Acer CB342CK C is Acer’s creator-centric monitor, and features a swathe of features designed to make working on your next project as convenient as possible.

It features ZeroFrame design with 34-inch UltraWide QHD IPS panel that covers 99% sRGB wide color gamut to deliver a natural and sharp visual experience in 178° wide viewing angle. With Integrated 6-axis color adjustment, Acer CB342CK C allows users to fine-tune color to best suit their use.

On top of that it also featuresBlueLight Shield™, Acer Flicker-less™, Acer ComfyView™ and Low Dimming™ technology to reduce eye tiredness and provide comfy viewing even after long hours of usage.

The Predator Orion 300 and Predator XB273U GX gaming monitor are available immediately while Acer
CB342CK C monitor will be available by end of December 2020 at all Acer official online stores and all
Acer authorized resellers nationwide.

Customers who purchase any of these devices before 31 December 2020 will be entitled to redeem free
gifts, including up to RM100 worth of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit.

In addition, every submission before 25 December 2020 will also entitle the customer to one entry to the
Christmas rEunion Advent Calendar to stand a chance to bring back prizes from the total prize pool
