Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Introduces World Level 9

With the next version of Genshin Impact set to drop soon, developers have shared that version 5.0 will be introducing World Level 9. Accompanying this feature is the long awaited function, Regional Specialty Tracking which will allow players to track local specialties of all the nations in a general range.

The Genshin Impact version 5.0 update is set to release on August 28, 2024. This update will introduce the long-awaited nation of Natlan, a fiery region connected to the Pyro Archon, also known as the God of War.

According to a post on the official Genshin Impact HoYoLAB page, version 5.0 is set to bring in many QoL features as World Level 9 raises the challenge by making enemies tougher, but in return, it offers better rewards, including higher-quality artifacts, more resources, and rarer drops. This level is particularly aimed at veteran players looking to further push their teams’ capabilities. You’ll need to reach Adventure Rank 58 to upgrade to World Level 9.

Moving on to the Regional Specialty Tracking Function. This system enhances exploration by allowing players to track down regional specialties more efficiently. Once activated, this feature highlights the general locations of these items on the mini-map, making it easier to collect materials needed for character ascension and crafting.
