Genshin Impact 5.4 Debuts February 12 with Events and 5-Star Mizuki

HoYoverse has officially revealed the Version 5.4 update, “Moonlight Amidst Dreams,” for Genshin Impact that is set to launch on February 12, 2025. This update sees the return of the much-loved Mikawa Flower Festival in Inazuma, a cherished event celebrating the harmony between humans and youkai. Alongside the festival, players can look forward to a plethora of events, rewards, and the debut of the versatile new 5-star character, Yumemizuki Mizuki.

The Mikawa Flower Festival: A Celebration of Bonds

This year’s Mikawa Flower Festival promises an exciting lineup of activities. Players can look forward to challenges like:

• A Little Fox’s Daydream: Guide a fox through dreamscapes, collecting Fried Tofu.
• Bunshin Phantasm: Use Muji-Muji Daruma’s mimicked actions to unlock a bridge within three rounds.
• Akitsu Harpastum: A bullet-dodging game with harpastum mechanics, featuring new twists.

Festival Stamps earned through these activities can be redeemed for rewards, including the new 4-star polearm, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.

The fan-favourite Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun also makes a prominent appearance, investigating a mysterious nightmare, adding depth to the festive occasion.

Meet Yumemizuki Mizuki: The New 5-Star Anemo Healer

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a clinical psychologist and major shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse, joins Genshin Impact as a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user. Her abilities are a blend of healing and offense:

• Elemental Skill: Activates the Dreamdrifter state, dealing AoE Anemo DMG and boosting Swirl DMG from her teammates.
• Elemental Burst: Summons a Mini Baku that produces Yumemi Style Special Snacks. These heal teammates with less than 70% HP and deal AoE Anemo DMG if their HP is higher.

Mizuki will debut in the first half of the update’s Event Wishes, alongside Sigewinne’s rerun. In the second half, reruns for Furina and Wriothesley will follow. After Version 5.5, Mizuki will be added to the Standard Wish banner.

New Events and System Optimizations

Beyond the festival, players can enjoy additional activities like:

• Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter: Slice-of-life stories about beloved characters.
• Reel Ad-Venture: A film-editing challenge.
• Invasive Fish Wrangler: A fishing game with Co-Op and competitive modes.
• Realm of Tempered Valor: A combat-focused event.

System improvements include a Level-Up Plan feature for easier character progression, streamlined filters for characters and weapons, and an Auto Add button for weapon refinement.
