Gate of Nightmares commences pre-registrations

Hiro Mashima‘s and Square Enix‘s Gate of Nightmares mobile RPG has opened pre-registrations for its launch in Japan. A teaser trailer for opening animation has also been released as you can find below:

The Gate of Nightmares pre-registration page can be found here, along with the list of pre-registration rewards. The rewards are pretty simple ones, giving out varying quantities of “Red Gems” in gacha currency for hitting the milestones:

• 100,000: 600 Red Gems
• 150,000: 1200 Red Gems
• 200,000: 1800 Red Gems
• 300,000: 3000 Red Gems

300 Red Gems is equivalent to 1 draw in the gacha. There’s yet to be release window given, so there’s yet more waiting to be done. The story brief is given as follows:

Gate of Nightmares is a traditional fantasy adventure of swords and magic, set in both the “real world” where people live, and “Remurias,” a world of mixed up dreams made manifest. When Emma, a girl who became a “Nightwalker” and commands monsters known as “Nightmares,” which are born from bad dreams, encounters Azel, a mysterious boy the Nightmares like, she gets wrapped up in an adventure where the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

This is a new IP, so it will be interesting if it manages to make it big. This release should be only for Japan for now.
