Destiny 2 Beyond Light New Exotics

What good would a Destiny 2 expansion be without a set of new exotics for us Guardians to try out; In Beyond Light, Bungie has teased a few new exotic gears in the trailer below.

The new set of arsenals will be available when the expansion drops on 10th November so here’s a quick rundown on the exotics that are show in the trailer:

• No Time To Explain 

No Time To Explain is an exotic pulse rifle that returns ammo to the magazine after landing a precision hit against an enemy affected by Stasis which is the new elemental power getting added to the game next season. With stacking those precision shots, the gun will be able summon portals that fires weapons from another timeline. Damn.

• Cloudstrike

With this exotic sniper rifle, every time that you land a precision final blow, the sniper will generate lightning bolts at the target location. Rapid precision shots will summon an entire storm at the point of impact. Bring down the storm upon your enemies with this.

• The Lament

This exotic blade is both a mortal blade and a stalwart shield, by blocking with The Lament you’re able to rev up the blade and shred through shielded enemies. At its peak, damaging an enemy will heal the wielder. Doomslayer would be proud.

• Salvation’s Grip

Redemption is within your grasp as each fired projectile from this exotic grenade launcher will create Stasis crystals that will freeze nearby targets. Charge to increase the amount of crystals created and the freeze radius.

• Icefall Mantle

Stand tall against the oncoming hordes with this exotic reinforced gauntlets that replaces the Titan’s Barricade with Overshield, absorbing damage from incoming fire.

• Precious Scars 

Prove your strength, even when coming back from the brink. Upon revives, the Titan gains an Overshield aura that protects the wearer and nearby allies.

• Mask of Bakris 

Don the Mask to replace the Hunter’s Dodge ability with a longer range Shift ability that also temporarily cloaks the wearer during use.

• Arthrys’s Embrace

The Hunter’s weighted knife gains a second ricochet; rapid precision hits gain a damage bonus and can temporarily stagger enemies.

• Dawn Chorus

Feel that sweet burn. The Warlock’s Daybreak projectiles deal extra damage and cause enemies to burn on contact. Gain melee energy each time a burn damages a target.
