Shift Up, the developers behind Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, has officially announced the date for the free playable demo of Stellar Blade.
In a PlayStation blog post, Hyung Tae Kim, the director of Stellar Blade, announced that a demo for the game would be coming to PlayStation 5 on March 29th, 2024, at 7 am PDT. A demo teaser trailer was also released alongside the news.
The demo will take place from the very beginning of Stellar Blade up until the first boss fight, a tutorial phase will be included to help players familiarize themselves with basic combat features as they explore post-war Eidos 7.
According to the post, a little surprise is also prepared for those who completed the first stage, though the developers are still keeping that a secret for now.
It is also worth noting that players who completed the demo stage can carry over their save data when the full game is released on April 26th, 2024, where players can start from their last checkpoint. However, the saved data must be stored on their PlayStation 5 system for that to work.
Language options for the demo, as well as the full game, have also been revealed, which are:
- Voice over: Korean, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin Spanish.
- Text: Korean, English (US), French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish, Thai, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese.
Stellar Blade, the upcoming third-person action-adventure game is slated to release on the PlayStation 5 on April 26th, 2024. Players can also obtain additional in-game items by pre-ordering the game.
