2017’s top games according to Google Play

With 2017 is coming to a close, it is only natural that the best games of the year get acknowledged. By way of Google Play, these are the top five international games.

Super Mario Run

It comes as little surprise that Nintendo’s mascot would make an entry. Of course, it also helps that the game is entertaining and has been perfectly condensed for the mobile, as its difficulty and gameplay elements remain mostly intact.

Bubble Witch 3 Saga

Even though bubble shooters in general may have declined popularity-wise, there is still room for a very polished entry, which is exactly what Bubble Witch 3 Saga entailed. The addictive gameplay has been complemented with great visuals and all the trimmings.

Magic Tiles 3

Another rhythm game to the list. Magic Tiles 3 can be best described as Guitar Hero with pianos. You will have to attempt to play songs under time pressure without making any mistakes by tapping and holding on different parts of the screen. The game is as fun as it is intense.

CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars

Battle it out with machines out of cardboard, axes, and lasers, and destroy your opponent’s robots before they do the same to you. As a cat. You can pretty much even ignore the first line because if there is any subject matter that will draw the audience, it is felines.

Ballz

Ballz is essentially Breakout fine-tuned for today’s generation. You throw balls at numbered bricks in order break them, and will have to do so before they reach the bottom. There is not much to talk about here, but know that it is addictive as heck.
