It has been a week since the release of the highly anticipated Solo Leveling: ARISE mobile game, but how much revenue has it generated thus far?
According to the data from the mobile game analyst website AppMagic, Solo Leveling: ARISE has generated a total of $15,635,884 USD in revenue and garnered 9,791,416 downloads since its release on the 8th of May, 2024.
As a comparison, Netmarble’s previous big mobile release was Tower of Fantasy: New World, which is also based on a popular webtoon – generated $3,417,933 USD total in 7 days, starting on July 26, 2023.
Despite the Tower of Fantasy IP being a very popular series, Solo Leveling: ARISE generated about $12 million more than its mobile game in the launch week.
For another comparison, Netmarble released another mobile game based on huge comic series in 2020. But this is based on a manga series, rather than webtoon, and that is The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.
Similar to Tower of Fantasy: New World, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross has only generated about $3 million in its first week.
According to the data, 30% of Solo Leveling: ARISE‘s revenue comes from South Korea, followed by 23% from Japan, and 17% from the United States.
Interestingly, while South Korea made up the majority of the revenue, it only contributed to 5% of the total download counts with United States leading the charge with the most downloads with 24% of the total.
Solo Leveling: ARISE is now available on Android, iOS, and Windows PC.
