Pre-orders available for Outriders on Stadia

People Can Fly and Square Enix’s Outriders is currently available for pre-order on Google Stadia. The game will launch on 1st April 2021.

Stadia’s Twitter account posted the following tweet while tagging Outriders:

What makes playing the multiplayer looter shooter on Stadia different from other platforms is Stadia’s Stream Connect feature. Stream Connect enables players to view their friends’ gameplay through picture-in-picture overlay in real-time.

In a press release, Jon Brooke, Co-Head of Studio at Square Enix External Studios stated the following:

“We’re excited to team with Google to bring OUTRIDERS to Stadia with Stadia exclusive features and the highest levels of performance, allowing players to get the best experience on all supported devices.”

Players who play Outriders on Stadia can team up with other players on different consoles. The game offers full cross play support, allowing players to play with each other regardless of the platform.

Previously, People Can Fly postponed the release date of Outriders from 2nd February 2021 to 1st April 2021. With the new release date, People Can Fly announced that a demo for the game will be available next week, on 25th February 2021.
