The Nintendo Switch App is now officially available to download in Malaysia. Previously known as the Nintendo Switch Online App, it is a dedicated application for Nintendo Switch owners. Previously used mainly for Switch-related news, the app has more features to accommodate Switch users.
Although it has been available for quite some time, it was never officially offered in Malaysia until now.

The app includes various support features, some of which are tailored for specific games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, such as ZELDA NOTES, and it includes the ability to download screenshots and videos directly from the console to your mobile device. With the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, the app now also supports the GameChat feature.

The Nintendo Switch app also simplifies adding friends. In addition to the traditional friend code system, users can now send or receive friend requests using QR codes, making the process quicker and more convenient for both current and next-gen Switch devices.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will officially launch in Malaysia on July 3, and Nintendo has also announced official support for the Nintendo eShop, making it easier for Malaysian users to purchase games and manage subscriptions.
The Nintendo Switch App is now available to download in Malaysia on iOS and Android.
