Going with the Pokémon GO path is the latest game in the Stranger Things franchise, and this one in particular, is very appropriate.
Stranger Things will have you tracking down Upside Down stuff in the real world using AR technology. This sound fairly interesting if a bit on the spooky side, but this is exactly what the show is about.
