Publisher Perfect World Games and developer Hotta Studio have officially opened registration for the upcoming Containment Test, a closed beta for their highly anticipated free-to-play urban open-world action RPG, Neverness to Everness.
This initial test phase will be conducted exclusively on PC and will feature full voice-over support in English, Japanese, and Chinese, along with text localization options in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

The Containment Test aims to provide selected players with an early hands-on experience of the game’s dynamic urban environment and core gameplay mechanics. Participants will be able to dive into a wide range of features, including high-speed drifting, player-driven exploration, and other key aspects of life in the sprawling, futuristic metropolis of Hethereau. According to the official press release, Neverness to Everness encourages players to craft their own path as they navigate this richly detailed cityscape, hinting at a high degree of freedom and customization.

While the closed test is limited to PC for now, the full release of Neverness to Everness is planned for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. However, an official release date has not yet been revealed. Stay tuned for further updates as development progresses.
