Mortal Kombat 11 reveals gameplay, new and returning characters and more

NetherRealm held a live stream earlier today to reveal more details on their upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. Arriving for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 23, Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest entry in the Mortal Kombat series as well as a bloody sequel to Mortal Kombat X (2015). For those who are new, Fatalities are the most iconic feature of Mortal Kombat series.

The first wave of character reveals include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Sonya, Baraka, Skarlet, and Geras. Geras is a brand new character who wields the power to manipulate time, while Skarlet and Baraka are returning characters from Mortal Kombat 9. It is also revealed Sonya Blade is a voiced by Olympic Medalist and WWE Champion Ronda Rousey.

In addition, the live stream reveals some gameplay mechanics such as the new character customisation options. There will be a Kollector’s Edition as well that comes with a 1:1 scale Scorpion mask, a magnet and an exclusive Steelcase version for the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is launching on April 23 and you can pre-order the game now to get Shao Khan and access to the beta on March 28. You can visit the official site for more info!
