LEVEL UP KL is back for its 2022 iteration from 4 to 7 October 2022. Back in physical form, the event highlights include workshops, conferences and of course, the SEA Games Awards showcase, exhibition, and ceremony.
Featured speakers include:
Makoto Ishii MD, Bandai Namco Studios
Covers the operations of Bandai’s footprint in Malaysia and Singapore, overseeing over more than 200 professionals. Their deep library of IPs is legendary and exposes the local Malaysian scene to their pipeline of work. Makoto San effectively handles a large segment of Bandai’s global production footprint. Their ambitions are also moving towards indie support which would be interesting coverage.
Mufizal Mokhtar, Virtuos Kuala Lumpur General Manager
Will be running the opening keynote and beyond his talk, his personal journey is an interesting returning Malaysian expat and industry veteran. His perspective is one who has seen the growth of Malaysian games industry directly and then returning from a long international career shares the passion for the Malaysian industry.

LEVEL UP KL 2022 will be at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre – CCEC, Bangsar South from 4 – 7 October 2022, starting 09:00 daily to 19:00 depending on day. For those who have registered, there are even Masterclass Workshops from PlayStation Studios Malaysia and Larian Studios, and more.
