[GUIDE] Finding Alma’s Lost Glasses in The Apple of Her Eye Side Quest

The Monster Hunter Wilds side quest “The Apple of Her Eye” presents an engaging diversion from your monster-hunting duties, newly available with Title Update 1. This quest requires you to track down Alma’s missing glasses, leading you on a charming adventure that involves woodland creatures, secret parties, and hidden clues. While relatively short, the quest features several specific steps that must be completed in sequence and under particular conditions. Your reward? A crafting blueprint for yourself and the ability to change Alma’s eyewear.

Here’s everything you need to know to complete this delightful side quest.

1. After the update, speak to Alma to receive the quest. She’ll tell you she lost her glasses and ask you to help find them. 【Accept the quest “The Apple of Her Eye”】

2. Head to the Wudwud Hideout and talk to Thunk at the entrance. He’ll tell you to check the end of the river.

3. Teleport back to the Scarlet Forest base camp and follow the yellow marker.

4. Talk to the Scampshroom at the marked spot.

5. Keep following the yellow marker. In this area, there are multiple Wudwuds. Look for the one deepest on the left side wearing red glasses. (If you can’t find the right one, talk to each Wudwud nearby—there will be a cutscene when you find the right one.)

6. Teleport back to the Wudwud Hideout and talk to Thunk again. He’ll tell you to come back at night.

7. Rest at the camp until Nighttime during the Plenty Environment, then return to the Wudwud Hideout.

8. Once back at the Wudwud Hideout, talk to Thunk again, then turn left and climb the vines to the rooftop. You’ll find a group of Wudwuds having a party. Talk to every Wudwud with an exclamation mark above their head to gather 4 pieces of info.

9. Then go back down to the Wudwud Hideout and find Ayejack sleeping while hanging. Give it Eastern Honey, and you’ll get Alma’s glasses back.

Once you’ve completed the quest, you can equip Alma with her new glasses by visiting your camp and accessing the Appearance Menu. From there, select “Change Appearance” followed by “Change Alma Outfit” to find the new glasses option. This simple process allows you to customize Alma’s look with her recovered eyewear.
