Gamepad brand 8BitDo has revealed a collaboration with Genshin Impact with the officially licensed Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller Chongyun Edition, now available for pre-orders.

According to the official website, the Genshin Impact 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller Chongyun Edition is now available for pre-orders through Amazon and is expected to launch on 18 December 2023.

The special collaboration will be a collector’s bundle with a 7-piece gift set that includes the following items:

Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller

The device itself is a wireless controller capable of connecting through a 2.4G connectivity USB adapter, Bluetooth 5.0, or wired connection through a USB-C cable.

Equipped with a 1000mAh Li-on rechargeable battery, 8BitDo claims that the Ultimate controller is capable of 22 play hours with only 2-3 hours of charging time.

Furthermore, the controller comes with 2 Pro back paddle buttons and a custom profile switch button, allowing players to customize macros onto the keys and switch them on the fly depending on the games they are playing.

Meanwhile, the Charging Dock that comes included is multifunctional, serving as a hub that keeps the controller charged while also extending the connectivity signal.

It will be compatible with various devices, including Windows PC, Steam Deck, Raspberry Pi, and Android devices.

Additionally, it will also be compatible with iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad, macOS, and Apple TV.

Availability and Pricing

The controller is now available for pre-order through Amazon and is expected to launch on the 18th of December, 2023.
