Perfect World Entertainment has officially reveal their new flagship title for 2019 and that’s《神魔大陆》手游 or Forsaken World Mobile. The game originally came out in 2015 and had a successful run until 2018 where they cease to operate.
However, the remake of the game was revealed at E3 last year and not only will it get a revive, it will also be getting a better version of it thanks to the excellent global market performance of its first game.
This time, the developers decided to rebuild the magical world of Forsaken World to a grand scale. Like the previous game, the main theme and art style is still the western-themed mythology but better as they will utilize the latest gaming technology.
In the new Forsaken World Mobile, the developers will cling to a more realistic look rather than the more cartoon-ish ones in the previous title.
There will be HDR rendering, real-time weather changes, fine texture, fluid animation and more. Moreover, the game will be populated with NPCs. Every character such as Noble gods, Evil Spirits, animals and plants in the game will have their very own characteristics.
It will be having its first technical test in China on May 29 and you can register for it here. Since the game is new, there’s still no information regarding a global release. However, a global release can be expected seeing how good the first game was received globally.
