The Giant of Babil is a perfect representation of its Final Fantasy IV origins, where it served as both a massive machine of destruction and an actual dungeon in the game. Created by Zemus and radical Lunarians to destroy humanity, it was ultimately sealed away in the Lunar Subterrane by other Lunarians who rejected its destructive purpose.
