XSeed Games has announced Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion as the latest entry in the Corpse Party franchise, along with a Fall 2024 launch date.
This game has been highly anticipated by fans since it was teased in August 2020 in a YouTube video posted by MAGES celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Corpse Party Blood Covered Repeated Fear’s release.

The latest trailer sees an brand new trio of characters as they try to escape the Amare Est Vivere Hospital after performing the Ayame’s Mercy ritual and incurring the wrath of Ayame Kinoshita.
The game will also feature a star studded cast for the main characters featuring Kana Ichinose, Rie Takahashi and Emiri Suyama.
Once again, the man behind the original Corpse Party, Makoto Kedouin will return as the lead developer and writer for Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion.
Along with the announcement, an “Ayame’s Mercy Edition” is available for pre-order and includes a physical copy of the game, an Amare Est Vivere “Medical Kit” metal outer case, a 64 page art book, a “Save Yourself” LED blue candle, an “Ayame’s Mercy” lenticular art card, and an “evidence kit” of items.
The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
