Blue Archive Global New Update to Introduce Rumi and Mina

In the latest update for the global version of Blue Archive, two new students will be making their debut, namely Rumi and Mina.

Scheduled to go live on 28 November 2023, Rumi and Mina, both 3★ students will be available for pick-up recruitment in Blue Archive.

Along with the new students, an event titled ‘Dragon & Tortoise: Working Together for a Better Future’ will also be available, however, no event schedule has been announced yet.

Akeshiro Rumi

Akeshiro Rumi is the President of the Black Tortoise Promenade, a food district in the Shanhaijing Academy.

Her egg-fried rice is rumored to die for as she managed to grow the Black Tortoise Promenade from a run-of-the-mill food alley into one of the most sought-after food districts in Kivotos.

Rumi will be a 3★ Striker with the Healer role and take on the position on the Front.

She wields a submachine gun and has the Attack Type of Explosive and Defense Type of Heavy.

Her abilities are as follows:

• EX Skill – Word’s Tastiest! 
  • Delivers Fried Rice to 1 ally other than user for Recovery. If there are nearby allies, the Fried Rice bounces to give additional Recovery proportional to Healing (Max 4 Allies).
  • (Lv.5: Removes 1 debuff from First and Fourth Target.)
• Basic Skill – Business Safety Regulations
  • Deals damage proportional to ATK to enemies within a fan-shaped area every 30 seconds.
• Enhanced Skill – Merchant Guild President’s Pride 
  • Increases Normal Attack Range and Healing.
• Sub Skill – Memorable Taste
  • Continuously recovers HP proportional to Healing for allies Recovering with Rumi’s EX skill (60 sec).

Konoe Mina 

Executive Officer of Genryumon, Shanhajing’s student council, Konoe Mina is also the Student Council President Ryuuge Kisaki’s personal bodyguard.

Despite her calm and collected demeanor, she is actually a hardcore classic noir film buff and loves to quote scenes and lines from movies she watched, although often incorrectly.

Mina will be a 3★ Striker with the Support role and take on the position in the Middle.

She wields a handgun and has the Attack Type of Explosive and Defense Type of Heavy.

Her abilities are as follows:

• EX Skill – Well Matched
  • Deals damage proportional to ATK to 1 enemy. Also decreases ATK (50 sec).
  • (Lv. 3-4) Also decreases Evasion (50 sec).
  • (Lv. 5) Also decreases Accuracy (50 sec).
• Basic Skill – Unstoppable 
  • Reloads instantly every 8th normal attack.
  • Deals damage proportional to ATK to 1 enemy.
  • Additional damage proportional to ATK dealt based on the number of debuffs on the target.
• Enhanced Skill – Stand Your Ground
  • Increases Evasion.
• Sub Skill – Determination
  • Increases ATK, Evasion, and Accuracy when using EX skills (20 sec).

As mentioned, both Mina and Rumi will be available in pick-up recruitment on the 28th of November, 2023, in Blue Archive.
