Game Science has officially announced that Black Myth: Wukong will launch for Xbox Series X|S on August 20 with pre-orders set to open on June 18.
Additionally, all digital editions of the game will be on sale for the first time with 20% off across all platforms.
The discount schedule is as follows (times and dates may vary by region):
- PlayStation Store: June 18 – July 3
- Microsoft Store (Pre-order Discount): June 18 – July 11
- PC (Steam and Epic Games Store): June 20 – July 11

Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game deeply inspired by Chinese mythology, specifically the legendary tale Journey to the West, one of China’s Four Great Classical Novels. Players take on the role of the Destined One, setting out on a perilous journey filled with awe-inspiring challenges and hidden truths beneath a celebrated ancient legend.
Combat in Black Myth: Wukong is enhanced by a diverse arsenal of spells, transformations, and magical tools – elements that are central to Chinese mythological storytelling. Combine different abilities, weapons, and equipment to develop a personalized fighting style and overcome increasingly complex enemies.
