Acer Expands Gaming Portfolio with New AOPEN Monitors and Acer Aspire 14 AI

Acer Malaysia has announced an expansion of its gaming and AI-powered lineup, introducing four new AOPEN gaming monitors alongside the Aspire 14 AI laptop. The new AOPEN monitor lineup includes two curved models – the 32HC5QU S3 and 27HC5R Z1 – as well as the 27KG3U M3 and 25MV1Q Z1. Each monitor features AMD FreeSync technology for tear-free gaming, HDR10 support, and blue light reduction for extended gaming sessions.

The flagship AOPEN 32HC5QU S3, priced at RM899, offers a 31.5-inch VA panel with WQHD resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate. Its 1500R curved screen is complemented by a versatile stand with tilt, height, and swivel adjustments. The 27-inch 27HC5R Z1, available at RM699, pushes refresh rates up to 280Hz with FHD resolution and 99% sRGB color accuracy.

For competitive gamers, the AOPEN 27KG3U M3 (RM699) features a 27-inch IPS panel with WQHD resolution and an impressive 0.5ms GTG response time. The 25MV1Q Z1, the most affordable option at RM569, targets esports enthusiasts with a 280Hz refresh rate and 1ms TVR response time.

Alongside the gaming monitors, Acer introduced the Aspire 14 AI laptop, featuring Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor. The laptop delivers over 40 TOPS of AI performance and includes features like AcerSense for system management and AI-powered noise reduction. Available in two configurations, the laptop starts at RM3,999 for the Intel Core Ultra 5 model and RM4,699 for the Intel Core Ultra 7 variant.

All products are immediately available through Acer’s eStore and official Shopee and Lazada stores, with the Aspire 14 AI also available through authorized Acer resellers nationwide. Early buyers of the Aspire 14 AI (before March 7, 2025) will receive a complimentary SanDisk Type-C 256GB Dual Drive valued at RM169.
