One Piece Odyssey Collectors Edition Unboxing – Treasure of The New World

With the release of One Piece Odyssey, we’re fortunate enough to receive the collectors edition from Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia!  The collectors edition includes various of treasures: the base game, the collector’s box, a steel case, some postcards and most notably a scale figure of Luffy and Lim.

Collector’s Box

The exterior of the box brandishes a nice design that features the game’s logo at the center. Meanwhile, the back of box shows off the content inside the box, along with brief descriptions of the game. While there isn’t much to say, it’s still a cool package that neatly stores the content inside.

Steel Case

One of the content inside the box is the Steel Case, which is an alternative casing where you can store the game disc in. The design of this Steel Case follows the Collector’s box, but instead features a sleek silver and green colour scheme, which I personally prefer.

Opening the Steel Case, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful two-sided illustration of a background scene in the game.

Post Cards

Also included in the Collector’s Edition are a handful of One Piece-themed designed Post Cards. These Post Cards showcase some of the most iconic and emotional scenes from the manga. Reliving the scene of Portgas D. Ace being captured by the Marines still leaves a hole in my heart. Too soon?

Luffy and Lim Figure

The figure of Luffy and Lim is easily the highlight of the Collectors Edition. The figure is measured with the dimensions of 230x210x210mm and shows off everyone’s favourite Straw Hat Pirate Luffy and the game’s exclusive character – Lim.

Unfortunately, you can’t pose the figure but it already comes in a really cool dynamic pose that looks good no matter where you display it. In addition, the figure is also highly detailed and the paint job looks extremely well done. The attention to detail for minor features like the folds of the character’s clothing, and the fur-like material to Luffy’s shorts are high quality.
