Netmarble and developer Netmarble F&C have confirmed that their upcoming free-to-play action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in 2025. The game will also be available on iOS and Android devices, with all platforms releasing simultaneously.
Players can now add the game to their PlayStation Store wishlist ahead of its launch. While the developers had previously announced console and PC versions were planned, this marks the first time specific platforms have been revealed. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is based on the popular manga series that has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. The game takes place in an open-world version of Britannia, recreated to match the look and feel of the anime adaptation.

Players will control Prince Tristan of the Kingdom of Liones in an original story set within the familiar Seven Deadly Sins universe. The plot involves a mysterious collision of time and space that has thrown Britannia into chaos, with Tristan working to restore order to the kingdom.
The game promises a large open world filled with monsters, hidden secrets, and various landscapes to explore. Players can build teams using different heroes, each with their own unique abilities. The roster includes both fan-favorite characters from the series and new original heroes created specifically for this game. Beyond combat, the game will offer relaxing activities like fishing and cooking. Players can also explore hidden dungeons, search for rare treasures, and discover uncharted areas alongside friends and allies.

Additionally, a new trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is set to premiere at the Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase on June 6, which should give fans a better look at the gameplay and story elements.
