Rockman X DiVE adds RiCO as a playable character

RiCO, the navigator and NPC of Capcom Taiwan’s action platformer Rockman X DiVE, is finally promoted to playable character.

Previously, RiCO, an original character from the game, is an NPC who acts as a navigator for the player. The debut of RiCO as a hunter in the game is timely as the Asia version of Rockman X DiVE is celebrating its 1st anniversary celebration next week. Check out her skills in this video:

As a hunter, RiCO’s skill set is heavily inspired by her role of navigator. Her first skill, Data Analysis, erects a force field around herself. Enemies who come into contact of the force field will receive damage and increase data energy, a resource necessary for RiCO to activate her other skills.

Her second skill, Data Creation, consumes data energy to summon virtual windows. These windows will randomly activate the skills of other characters but will only last for 12 seconds or after taking enough damage.

Besides that, ViA’s Deep Log Training event is also ongoing until 1st April. In this event, players can earn rewards by completing the event stage. Amongst these rewards include the memories of a new character, X (RS Ver.) from this event. The top 100 players with the highest score will also get RiCO’s skin, Sakura RiCO.

Finally, during the anniversary celebration period, players can get DiVE Anniversary Celebration Capsule Activation Coins by logging in. There is also a chance to get the DiVE Festival limited character. New players who play the game will also get free 50 capsule draws.
