Capcom has finally given fans a concrete release window for its mysterious sci-fi project Pragmata, announcing the game will launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC via Steam.
The announcement came during a recent State of Play presentation, where director Cho Yonghee provided the first major update on the game since June 2023. Along with the release date news, Capcom shared new gameplay footage that gives players their first real look at what to expect from this science fiction adventure.
Pragmata centers around two main characters – Hugh and Diana – who must team up to survive on the moon’s harsh surface. The game’s unique hook is that players will control both characters at the same time, requiring coordination between their different abilities to overcome challenges.
Hugh appears to be a human astronaut, while Diana is described as an android companion. Together, they’re working to defeat a rogue lunar station AI and find their way back to Earth. The cold, dark lunar setting serves as the backdrop for their adventure.

The newly released trailer shows off the game’s sci-fi visuals and gives glimpses of the action gameplay, though Capcom promises to share more details about the combat system in the coming months.
Pragmata was first announced years ago but had remained largely silent, leaving fans wondering about its progress. The development team at Capcom has been working to make sure the game meets expectations when it finally arrives in 2026.
