King of Fighters: For Girls announced for iOS and Android

SNK’s King of Fighters series is heading to the mobile in an unexpected way. How unexpected? Well, it’s an Otome game! King of Fighters: For Girls is set to be released on the iOS and Android platforms sometime in Summer 2019 this year.

A King of Fighters game is traditionally a fighting game so it’s highly unusual to see an entry like this. In fact, the last time there was a similar game was Days of Memories 3 for the Nintendo DS back in 2009. That game was a dating sim for men but King of Fighters: For Girls will cater to the ladies instead.

In this game, you get to play as the heroine who is tasked to manage the fighters from the King of Fighters series. As an otome game, this obviously means that you will be able to date them if you do certain things right.
