DOOM: The Dark Ages Reveals The Cosmic Realm And New Enemies

id Software revealed a new, unseen location within DOOM: The Dark Ages. In this game, the DOOM Slayer will explore the uncharted lands of the Cosmic Realm and battle against monstrous enemies including the Cosmic Baron and Cacodemon.

This new setting offers an expansive play area to the game, filled with extraterrestrial horrors, ancient landscapes and twisting environments that utilize strategy and skill.

The Cosmic Realm will allow players to encounter aesthetic-driven ambience like never before in the DOOM franchise. With Lovecraftian inspiration, this area delivers a unique combination of gothic architecture and cosmic landscapes, making it visually haunting and invigorating.

An alliance between the Cosmic Realm and Hell will take the Slayer to this new scenario to fight against enemies that he has never met before. Players will take on enemies like the Cosmic Baron and the newly designed Cacodemon, a hybrid between Hell and the Cosmic Realm, that will put players in hardcore situations throughout this journey.

In addition, the Slayer will also have a new weapon called the The Reaver Chainshot, in which he can use to fight against the creatures. The Reaver Chainshot is able to shoot a giant iron ball tied to a chain that can beat enemies to a bloody mesh all in a single shot.

DOOM: The Dark Ages will release on May 15 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Battle.net. Learn more about DOOM on the games official website.
