Activision, along with developers Treyarch and Raven Software, has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, set to launch in 2025.
Announced during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and Battle.net.

A full reveal is scheduled for later this summer.
The upcoming game will offer the complete Call of Duty experience, according to series general manager Matt Cox, with more details expected later this summer. Tyler Bahl, from Activision Marketing, noted that this is the first time they are releasing back-to-back games in the Black Ops series, allowing players more time to enjoy Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone before moving to Black Ops 7.

Set in the year 2035, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 unfolds in a world destabilized by global conflict and psychological warfare. Following the events of fan-favorite titles Black Ops II and Black Ops 6, the story centers on David Mason and his elite Black Ops team as they confront a cunning adversary who uses fear as a weapon.
Players can experience a gripping, cooperative campaign – either solo or with friends – featuring cutting-edge, near-future technology. The game also delivers a reimagined Multiplayer experience packed with all-new maps and innovations, along with a chilling new installment of Round-Based Zombies, set deep within the Dark Aether storyline.
