Announcing ROBA – Ragnarok Battle Academy!

Ragnarok Battle Academy, or ROBA, is currently being developed in collaboration between Gravity and Extreme Studio!

Ragnarok Online is an incredibly popular MMORPG, more so in Thailand, published under Electronics Extreme. Electronics Extreme moved to establish Extreme Studio in 2016 to maintain a hold in the gaming industry, looking to develop games and applications. Electronics Extreme’s in-depth knowledge of Ragnarok led Gravity to co-develop this new Ragnarok IP with them.

Kitamura Yoshinori, Gravity’s COO is pleased with this collaboration. Together, he believes their experience and determination can make ROBA a successful game. They will be doing their best to develop the finest game there is.

Thanin Piromwad, Electronic Extreme’s CEO, is equally delighted at this opportunity to work with Gravity. ROBA aims to bring a new excitement to gamers at large, and that the game can appeal to both Ragnarok fans and newbies. Fun gameplay meets cute graphics and is sure to have universal appeal. He believes this collaboration is a significant step for Thailand’s gaming industry.

ROBA is a combination of “Ragnarok‘s RPG style and battle royale”. Like the Training Ground of Ragnarok Online, players will begin as Novices. Team up, practice and survive! Hunt monsters and bosses to gain EXP and equipment. Pick the right equipment and skills to get an advantage in fights! Don’t forget to avoid the Red Zone while you defeat other survivors!

Ragnarok Battle Academy is currently at 80% development. Further tests and checks will be done to ensure the game will be perfected. On completion, it will launch in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Look forward to it!
