A New Hunter x Hunter Mobile Game Announced!

Lately, there has been a number of Hunter x Hunter games for the mobile announced. With the previous ones announced and launched like Hunter x Hunter: World Hunt by Bandai Namco and another by Tencent x Lantu Games – this one will be another one by Bandai Namco. The game was announced via the latest issue of the Weekly Jump which revealed some information of the upcoming 3D ARPG of Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure for mobile.

Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure is set in the “Greed Island” arc, where Gon, Killua and the rest completed the Greed Island mystery. If you followed the manga, the Hunter Association had also gone through some leadership changes during the event. Following the events later, Greed Island 2 emerged into existence which is what Gon and friends are tasked to look into.

The map of Greed Island 2 is based off the original manga. Just like in the Greed Island arc, in the game, players will also be able to collect cards and equip them to be used for various abilities. Paired with the type of Nen Abilities, it can also be utilized to activate traps which decides the fate of the battle.

With the setting of Greed Island 2 in Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure, players will be able to relive the adventures from the original series of Hunter x Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi. The game is slated to be released in Japan later this year. However, there’s no news if the game will be translated or have an English version. More info will be revealed soon on Bandai Namco’s official site on September 3rd, 2018.
